PRIVACY CHOICES · DATA

Export, pause or delete.

Cookestra does not create a separate Cookestra account. Device data, private iCloud data, Apple subscriptions and Chef+ security records have different controls.

EFFECTIVE · 30 JULY 2026

Delete private Cookestra data from iCloud

  1. Open Cookestra → Settings.
  2. Open Cookestra Cloud & data.
  3. Choose Storage, export & reset.
  4. Choose Delete private iCloud data and confirm.

Cookestra pauses sync before the network operation, deletes each supported private record group and verifies that it is gone. If the operation is interrupted, use Finish deletion. Local data remains on the iPhone; resuming sync later may upload local data again.

Export or remove local data

My Kitchen can be exported from the same Settings area. The temporary export is protected while it exists and deleted after the share operation. A copy saved to another app or location is then controlled by that destination.

Use Cookestra's reset controls to clear the relevant local preferences and memories. Deleting Cookestra from the device removes its local app container, but does not cancel an Apple subscription or automatically remove private CloudKit records.

Manage or cancel Chef+

Chef+ is billed by Apple. Open Cookestra Settings → Chef+ → Manage membership, or use Apple's subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals according to Apple's terms; it does not erase Cookestra data.

Request deletion of Chef+ security records

When the Chef+ service is active, it keeps pseudonymous App Attest and entitlement-security records to prevent replay and unauthorized package access. Email the address below with the subject “Chef+ data request.” We may ask for limited proof of the relevant App Store transaction or device association so another person cannot erase your records. Records required for fraud prevention, legal compliance or an active dispute may be retained as permitted by law.
